Consul Cunanan to Help Georgia Develop First Marine National Park, Reforestation Programs

268a7870Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan Jr is helping the Agency of Protected Areas (APA) of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources develop Georgia’s first marine national park. The area under study is located on Georgia’s Black Sea coast, near the city of Batumi. Together with Honorary Georgian Consul in Denmark Marianne Bols, Consul Cunanan is also working on a program that will focus on reforestation of the Caucasian fir tree. Continue reading

Consul Cunanan to Hold Photo Exhibit in Tbilisi and Gori

Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan will be holding a photo exhibit at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and at Stalin Museum in Gori, Georgia. The exhibit will feature the architectural photographs of Manila of famous Filipino illustrator and painter John Paul Olivares. The exhibition is scheduled for late May 2017.

Consul Cunanan Visits Borjomi Water Company; to Facilitate Exports to the Philippines and Asia

Consul Cunanan Rescues Georgian National Living at Airport in Manila

13483260_10208742513573928_3308314165249437538_oIn July, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan Jr came to the rescue of a Georgian national who had been living transit area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila for almost 40 days and nights. Upon learning of case, Consul Cunanan, who is officially based in Baguio City, rushed to Manila and was able to resolve the situation within a couple of hours and send the Georgian home the next day.
