Consul Cunanan recently entered into a strategic partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and the National Parks Development Committee for the showing of Georgian films in Rizal Park’s Open-Air Theatre. Rizal Park is the Philippines’ premiere urban recreational center, located in the heart of Manila and 57 hectares in size. Approximately 50,000 people visit the park during weekends. Consul Cunanan visited FDCP headquarters and met with the agency’s officials led by Chairman Briccio Santos and Executive Director Teodoro Granados.

Consul Cunanan is planning to show Georgian classic and contemporary movies in time for Georgia’s independence day in May.
