Consul Cunanan recently guested on the radio program of noted Philippine rights activist Anna Cabrera to talk about the wildlife and eco-tourism of Georgia. The radio program, which lasted over half an hour, was broadcast nationwide on DZRJ.
Consul Cunanan described Georgia’s diverse flora and fauna and the different animals that could be found in the country’s different landscapes. He also talked about ongoing initiatives to increase exchanges between the Philippines’ Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau and Georgia’s Agency for Protected Areas. Consul Cunanan also discussed his efforts to promote eco-tourism in Georgia, with the first tour groups scheduled for the middle of 2013.
