On August 23, Consul Cunanan was a guest on “Ikons in Circles”, a regular weekly TV program of the Global News Network (GNN). Hosted by Consul (a.h.) Annette Ablan of Belarus, the show enjoys a wide following, is broadcast nationwide and all over Asia, and features different personalities and issues relevant to social responsibility.

Consuls Cunanan and Ablan discussed Philippine-Georgian relations and Consul Cunanan’s efforts to develop bilateral ties between the two countries. Consul Cunanan also expounded on his recent activities as well as future plans, including the organizing of Georgian film festivals in Manila, increasing tourism to and from Georgia, strengthening trade and investments, and expanding cultural cooperation. There was also a lively discussion about the beauty of Georgian culture, which included traditional dances, songs, wine, and famous culinary dishes.
