In November 2011, Consul Cunanan guested Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania on his weekly television program “Philippines Uncut”, which airs on the Global New Network on Destiny Cable (Channel 8) and GSAT (Channel 1) in Metro Manila, over 300 cable networks all over the country, free-to-air UHF in the provinces, Asia-wide (Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, Mongolia etc.) and nationwide on the GSAT satellite TV system, and Internet streaming.
Deputy Minister Jalagania and several of his colleagues from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Georgia were in Manila for a series of meetings and consultations with the Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs. Consul Cunanan and Deputy Minister Jalagania discussed ongoing initiatives to strengthen Philippine – Georgian relations, along with plans and programs for the future.
The program lasted for an hour and included official Georgian government tourism documentaries.
