Consul Cunanan Inaugurates Georgia – Philippines Friendship Park in Tbilisi

zOn International Children’s Day, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan Jr and his partners inaugurated the “Georgia – Philippines Friendship Park” in Tbilisi, Georgia. Officially called “Mabuhay!” (Filipino for “Live!”), this is the first such park in Georgia and the entire Caucasus region and is a symbol of enduring friendship and strong relations between the Philippines and Georgia. Consul Cunanan and Partners to Inaugurate Philippines-Georgia Friendship Mini-Park in Tbilisi

Presentation1The Philippines – Georgia Friendship Mini‐Park, the first in the country and the Caucasus and an initiative of Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan and Tbilisi Zoo Director Zurab Gurielidze, will be inaugurated on June 1st, International Children’s day. The project is being funded by Batumi International Container Terminal LLC (BICT), the Philippines’ largest investor in Georgia and the operator of the container terminal of the port of Batumi. BICT is a wholly‐owned subsidiary of Philippine multinational company International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI).
