During the City anniversary of Rustavi, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan was the guest of honor at the Georgian wrestling championship held at the city’s central park. The wrestling competition, which had fighters from different age groups coming from all over Rustavi and outlying areas, was one of the sports highlights of the city’s festivities.

Philippine – Georgian Boy Scouts Agreement Signed
Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan Jr has successfully organized the “twinning agreement” between the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and its counterpart in Georgia, the Georgian Organization of the Scout Movement (GOSM). The document was signed in Tbilisi by GOSM Chairman Giorgi Kvintelani and witnessed by Consul Cunanan and Levan Akhvlediani, Chairman of the Philippines – Georgia Business and Friendship Association. Consul Cunanan was also inducted as an “honorary Georgian scout”.
Consul Cunanan is Telavi’s Honored Guest During Abkhazia Heroes Commemoration
Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan Jr was a special guest of the City of Telavi during its commemoration of the Georgian heroes in the Abkhazian conflict. Consul Cunanan joined Telavi Mayor Platon Kalmakhelidze, Vice Mayor Tengiz Mtvarelishvili, Levan Akhvldiani of the Philippines – Georgia Business and Friendship Association, and other city and civil society leaders in the repainting of the cemetery dedicated to the citizens of Telavi who fought and died in the Abkhazia conflict.
