On October 5, 2011, the Memorandums of Understanding between Caucasus University and San Sebastian College-Recoletos and Lyceum of the Philippines University were signed in Tbilisi, Georgia. The MOUs are designed to foster friendly relations between the academic institutions through mutual cooperation in teaching and research. The areas of cooperation include: exchange of students, joint research activities, participation in seminars and academic meetings, exchange of faculty and staff members, and exchange of academic materials.

Consul Cunanan represented Lyceum of the Philippines University and San Sebastian College – Recoletos. The memorandum was signed by Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University. Witnessing the signing were Director of International Relations Department, Tea Tevdorashvili, International Mobility Manager, Marika Gabisonia and Public Relations Manager, Khatia Alpaidze. Dr. Shengelia and Consul Cunanan are working on an exchange of faculty members and students between the new partner-schools in 2012.
