In November, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan is organizing a Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Symposium in Georgia. Working together with Consul Cunanan in this project are two Georgian non-government organizations: the West Point Society of Georgia and the Atlantic Council of Georgia.

Liter of Light Foundation to be Established in Georgia
In November, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan is establishing the “Liter of Light” foundation in Georgia. Liter of Light, which began in the Philippines as a grassroots environment movement, is a non-government organization aimed at promoting the use of solar power and renewable energy and the establishment of related livelihood programs. Consul Cunanan is working closely with Liter of Light Founder and Chairman Illac Angelo Diaz.
Consul Cunanan to hold Five-City Photo Exhibition in the Philippines and Georgia
In July and August, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan is holding a five-city photo exhibition in the Philippines and Georgia. Entitled “Asphalt Stories”, the exhibition will feature photographs of the Philippines by famous Filipino painter and illustrator Professor Lakan Olivares.
Consul Cunanan to lead First Philippine Boy Scout Delegation to Georgia
In August, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan will lead a top-level delegation of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines on an official trip to Georgia. Heading the 10-member delegation will be BSP National President Wendell Avisado, who is also the Presidential Adviser for Special Concerns of President Rodrigo Duterte, and BSP Secretary General Rogelio Villa.
