First Georgia – Philippines Sister-Province Relationship Signed
Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan Jr paid an official visit to Kvemo Kartli Governor Paata Khizanashvili on the occasion of the signing of the Sister-Province Agreement between Kvemo Kartli and Isabela in the Philippines, the FIRST province-level agreement between Georgia and the Philippines and Georgia and the entire Asia. This was another landmark initiative of Consul Cunanan, who witnessed the signing at the Governor’s office in Rustavi City. Continue reading

Consul Cunanan Inaugurates Georgia – Philippines Friendship Park in Tbilisi
On International Children’s Day, Honorary Georgian Consul Thelmo Cunanan Jr and his partners inaugurated the “Georgia – Philippines Friendship Park” in Tbilisi, Georgia. Officially called “Mabuhay!” (Filipino for “Live!”), this is the first such park in Georgia and the entire Caucasus region and is a symbol of enduring friendship and strong relations between the Philippines and Georgia.
