Consul (a.h.) Thelmo Cunanan Jr. was the guest speaker of San Beda University during the latter’s Global Tourism Forum at its campus in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Consul Cunanan made an extensive audio-visual presentation of Georgia’s tourism attractions, culture, and heritage and participated in a question-and-answer forum with university students and faculty. University officials expressed interest to develop exchange students programs with Georgia. In this regard, Consul Cunanan is working closely with Caucasus University, a leading Georgian educational institution, in developing Philippines – Georgia academic relations.

Consul Cunanan is often invited by universities and colleges and media and socio-civic organizations nationwide to talk about Georgia. He has also written numerous articles and produced television programs on the subject.
