Consul (a.h.) Thelmo Cunanan Jr paid an official courtesy on Rustavi Mayor Davit Jikia and presented the latter with on invitation to visit Cauayan City, Philippines from Cauayan Mayor Bernard Dy.

Last year, Cauayan and Rustavi entered into a historic sister-city relationship, the FIRST between Georgia and the Philippines and the FIRST between Georgia and ASEAN. The project was an initiative of Consul Cunanan, in partnership with the mayors of Cauayan and Rustavi and their respective councils.
