The Consulate of Georgia in the Philippines, led by Consul (a.h.) Thelmo Luis Cunanan Jr., successfully launched the Second Georgian Nationwide Film Festival Roadshow. The project is a partnership between the Consulate; the Georgian National Film Center, which supplied the movies; and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), an agency under the Office of the President that is mandated with the advancement of independent local and foreign cinema in the country.

Consul Cunanan to attend Official 97th Independence Celebration in Georgia; to Strengthen Philippines – Georgia Relations
On May 25, Consul (a.h.) Thelmo O. Cunanan Jr of the Consulate of Georgia in the Philippines is scheduled to fly to Tbilisi, Georgia to attend the official celebration of the country’s 97th independence. He will also meet with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and brief them about the many activities of his consulate to develop Philippines – Georgia relations.

Consul (a.h.) Thelmo Cunanan Jr. is scheduled to call on Rustavi City Mayor David Jikia, to present the latter with a symbolic friendship gift and letter of friendship from Mayor Bernard Faustino Dy of Cauayan City, Isabela, Philippines. Rustavi is the official Sister-City of Cauayan.
