On April 27, the Consulate of Georgia in the Philippines, led by Consul (a.h.) Thelmo Cunanan Jr, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, formalizing the 2nd Nationwide Georgian Film Roadshow that will begin on May 9, 2015. The film festival will be in celebration of the Independence Day of Georgia on May 26.

Consul Cunanan represents Georgia at International Festival of Language and Culture
In March, Consul (a.h.) Thelmo O. Cunanan Jr was the official guest of the International Festival of Language and Culture, where he represented Georgia. The event, entitled “Colors of the World, is held annually in big cities of different countries. This year, it was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World, Manila.
Georgian Consulate Planning Art Exhibit in August
The Consulate of Georgia, led by Consul (a.h.) Thelmo Cunanan Jr, is planning an art exhibit in August, in in partnership with the Manila Collectible Company (TMCC). Located in Intramuros, Manila, TMCC is a privately-funded cultural center and gallery that supports Filipino artists and specializes in the promotion of indigenous Philippine art and heritage.
