The donation of films to De La Salle University library by the Consulates of Georgia and Belarus in the Philippines, led by Consuls (a.h) Thelmo Cunanan and Anna Marie Ablan, was recently featured in the Philippine Star newspaper. The latter is one of the biggest broadsheets in the Philippines. Among the films donated were the Georgian masterpieces “Will there be a theatre up there?”, “The Other Bank”, and “Keep Smiling”. From Belarus were the art films “Khatyn”, “Shoes”, and “Belarus. Four Years at War.”
