On June 16, Consul Cunanan attended a dinner hosted by the Climate Change Commission in honor of Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, Chairman of the United Natiions Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The event was held at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel and hosted by Former Senator Heherson Alvarez, a member of the CCC.
On June 20, Consul Cunanan visited the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) at its headquarters in the Exportbank Plaza, Makati City. His objective was to strengthen Georgian – Philippine cultural relations, through the medium of cinema.
In early June, Consul Cunanan was a guest of Caucasus University and was invited to speak before its business, media, and international affairs students who are interested in overseas exchange programs.
On June 21, Consul Cunanan attended the regular Sabbath luncheon of the Jewish Association of the Philippines, upon the invitation of Director Lee Blumenthal and President Paul Rosenberg. The event was held at the Beit Yaacov Synagogue in Makati City. It is the only Synagogue in the Philippines.
