Consul Cunanan is Keynote Speaker at Southville International School

On April 4, 2014, Consul Cunanan was the keynote speaker at the high school graduation ceremony of Southville International School and Colleges.

Southville International School and Colleges was founded in 1990 as Southville International School. The school started by offering preschool at its Elizalde Campus, and eventually expanded to offer primary school, secondary school, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and college degree courses.

The school has several campuses, the Elizalde Campus which offers Nursery to Preparatory, the Munich Campus which houses Nursery to Grade Five students until Academic Year 2010-2011 when Grade 5 moved to the Luxembourg Campus which houses Grades Five to Grade Eleven students and the College students, and the Tropical Campus which houses the Scholastic Reading Center, The Capital Market and Entrepreneurship Center, the Taylor Training Center and other function rooms.

In his speech entitled “Do What You Love. The Rest Will Follow”, Consul Cunanan talked about the need to pursue one’s goals and to remain focused on ambitions. He also stressed the need for professional integrity and honesty and the value of hard work. In his speech and ad libs, Consul Cunanan also talked about Georgia and the work he has been doing for the country in the last ten years. He also talked about his future plans to strengthen Philippine – Georgian relations. These include an ongoing initiative to establish an academic MOU between Southville and a partner school in Georgia.
