On March 23, 2014, officials of the Honorary Consulate of Georgia led by Consul Cunanan participated in a children’s charity outreach program at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) on Taft Avenue, Manila.

Consul Cunanan, assisted by Public Relations Director Melissa Dizon and celebrity endorsers of cause-oriented group Paris Glamour, distributed assorted toys and food products to 100 children at Pediatric Wards # 9 and #11. The children, whose ages ranged from newborn to teens, were charity patients of the PGH. The activity was part of the Consulate’s social outreach program, aimed at helping poor and disadvantaged communities around the Philippines.

The PGH is a tertiary state-owned hospital administered and operated by the University of the Philippines Manila, the University of the Philippines System‘s Health Sciences Center.
