Consul Cunanan and Director for Educational Cooperation Programs Normal Camungol appeared on “Expat Insights”, the TV program of GNN Host Raju Mandhyan, to promote Philippines – Georgia relations.

Consul Cunanan and Mr. Camungol discussed the current projects of the Georgian Consulate, including two landmark academic MOUs between Lyceum of the Philippines University and San Sebastian College – Recoletos and ongoing initiatives for a teacher-student exchange between the three bodies. Mr Camungol also discussed the “Teach and Learn with Georgia” program of the Ministry of Edcuation and Science, as well as business and investment opportunities in Georgia.

For his part, Consul Cunanan talked about Georgian culture and history and the country’s many tourist attractions. He also mentioned the First Philippine Tourism Delegation, which he successfully organized in partnership with Qatar Airways and the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GTNA). Consul Cunanan is currently spearheading the First Sister-City Agreement between the Philippines and Georgia and the First Philippine Climate Change Delegation to Georgia scheduled for the latter part of this year.
